Christensen Family vacation in Lava Hot Springs. We had a lot of fun!

Every one went down the river, the kids all went to the playground and we went swimming at the pool. It was nice to be around family.

Girls Only Weekend

The girls and I went to St. George for a mother/daughter activity. We had a lot of fun. We went and saw Toy Story 3, went swimming and to a princess party. It was great to spend time with grandpa and grandma.

My first attempt at a multi-layered cake

Turned out to be edible, but too much frosting (or at least too much of the wrong kind of frosting).  Gave a slice to Mathilda, butI neglected to get a picture.  It was like her first birthday all over again!

Kinda hard to see, but there were four layers with chocolate, cream cheese, chocolate layers of frosting, with cream cheese on outside.

Piano Recital

Emmi played Can You Feel the Love Tonight, Little Indian Dance and Peanut Butter.

Oskar played Shaggy Dog Bop, The Animal Band and Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.

So, I spent the last couple of snow storms shoveling all of the snow into a giant pile on the front lawn.


Shaped it into a slide for Gabi.


Bundled her up in her warmest Winter Wear.





Lifted her up to the top of the slide, on her sled.

And she says, "I don't want to try it!"


I guess we'll have to turn Oskar loose on it!
